San Diego North County Blue Star Mothers is a support group serving the San Diego area military and families. Our founding mothers first came together in September 2005 and meet regularly to share our worries, pride, and devotion to our children who are now serving in every branch of the military. We are an official chapter of the Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., a group formed during World War II.
The Blue Star Mothers of America is a non-partisan, non-political, non-sectarian, non-discriminatory and non-profit organization. We do not support any political candidate, nor do we endorse any religious organization. The military represents all aspects of America, as does our organization. Our mission is to support through service:

Members and their sons and daughters who serve or have served honorably in the Armed Forces of the United States of America

- United States military personnel who serve or have served honorably and their families
- Veteran's organizations
- Causes that will benefit military personnel

We hope that you will take the time to look through our web site. If you have a family member or friend in the military, we are here for you. If you are a proud American and want to do something to help, we are developing projects that will tell you how you can make a difference.

Our current project:

Write letters of encouragement

August Packages

Our military service person's Mom serves also.....

She worries, she cries, she writes letters, emails, and sends packages.

Mostly she waits and she prays!

The United Veterans Council has nominated SDNC Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. as the "Non-Profit Organization of the Year" for 2006.

BECOME AN OFFICIAL HUGGER!!

A great way to serve our troops is to welcome them home with open arms especially those with no family able to greet them

Let them know you are grateful for their service.

There's nothing like it.
